The Lincoln Lawyer series follows Mickey Haller, a criminal defense attorney who operates out of the backseat of his Lincoln Town Car.

In Blood Work, author Michael Connelly tells the story of retired FBI agent Terry McCaleb’s investigation into the murder of a young woman named Gloria Torres. McCaleb becomes obsessed with the case and eventually discovers that Torres was killed by a serial killer who is targeting young women with a specific type of blood disorder. McCaleb sets out to track down the killer and bring him to justice.
