Robert Dugoni is a New York Times and #1 international bestselling author of thrillers and mysteries. His books have been translated into more than twenty-five languages and sold in seventy-five countries. Dugoni’s first book, My Sister’s Grave, was a finalist for the 2015 Goodreads Choice Award for Best Mystery & Thriller.

Dugoni grew up in a small town outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His father was a steelworker and his mother was a stay-at-home mom. He has two sisters. Dugoni attended the University of Pennsylvania, where he studied English and creative writing. After graduation, he worked as a journalist for a short time before moving to Seattle to attend law school at the University of Washington. He graduated from UW in 1987 and began practicing law.

In the early 1990s, Dugoni began writing fiction. His first book, The Bodies of the Fathers, was published in 1997. Since then, he has published nineteen novels, including the Tracy Crosswhite series and the standalone thriller, The Girl Who Was Taken. Dugoni’s books have been translated into more than twenty-five languages and sold in seventy-five countries.
