Kenobi: Star Wars Legends

John Jackson Miller is an American science fiction writer and editor. He has written nineteen novels, including the New York Times bestseller Star Wars: Kenobi and the national bestsellers Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Star Trek: Typhon Pact: Raise the Dawn. He also wrote the comic book miniseries Star Wars: Knight Errant and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic: War. His most recent works are the novel Star Trek: Prey: Book One of the Hell’s Kitchen Trilogy and the short story “The Weight of Worlds” in the anthology Star Trek: The Next Generation: Distant Shores.

Miller was born in 1966 in Madison, Wisconsin. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1988 with a degree in history. He began his writing career as a reporter for the now-defunct Milwaukee Sentinel. He then worked as an editor and freelance writer before selling his first novel, Star Wars: Kenobi, in 1998.
