Life Reset: EvP (Environment vs. Player)

Shemer Kuznits is a Philadelphia-based writer, podcaster, and public radio producer. She is the author of the blog “The Philly Phoodie” and the host of the podcast “Philly Food Talk.” She has also produced stories for WHYY’s “NewsWorks Tonight” and “The Pulse.” Kuznits has a degree in journalism from Temple University.

There is no set series of work for this project, but I anticipate that it will involve a number of blog posts, articles, and perhaps even a book. I am interested in exploring the history, mythology, and religious aspects of vampires, as well as the more modern pop culture representations of these creatures. In particular, I am interested in how the vampire legend has been used to reflect fears and anxieties about sexuality, disease, and death.

In the Life Reset series, the environment is constantly pitted against the player in a battle for supremacy. The player must use their wits and resources to survive and thrive in this hostile world.
