What inspired you to become a writer?

I’ve always been a storyteller. When I was little, I used to make up stories to entertain my younger sister. I wrote my first “book” when I was in third grade. It was about a family of giraffes. I still have it somewhere.

What inspired you to write the Black Dagger Brotherhood series?

I’ve always been a fan of vampire stories, and I wanted to create a world and a cast of characters that were unique and compelling. I also wanted to write a series that had a wide appeal, something that would attract both male and female readers.

What are your favorite books?

I love books that are well-written and engaging. I’m a sucker for a good romance, and I also enjoy books that are suspenseful
