Fate of the Jedi: Conviction is a novel written by Aaron Allston and published in 2010. The novel is set in the Star Wars expanded universe and follows the story of Jedi Master Luke Skywalker and his son, Ben, as they investigate a series of murders committed by a Sith warrior known as Darth Krayt. The investigation leads the Skywalkers to the planet of Tatooine, where they discover that Krayt is building an army of Sith followers. With the help of their allies, the Skywalkers must stop Krayt before he can take over the galaxy.
