Many of the characters in the Mercy Thompson series are related to the characters in the Alpha and Omega series. Bran, the chief of the American werewolf pack, is Mercy’s father-in-law. Charles Cornick, the enforcer for the North American werewolf pack, is Bran’s son and Mercy’s husband. Anna, Charles’s sister, is also a werewolf.
