From the reviews I’ve seen, Streams of Silver benefits from having R.A. Salvatore read it. Apparently, he does an excellent job with the book and brings it to life.

The Streams of Silver is the second book in the Icewind Dale Trilogy. It follows the story of Drizzt Do’Urden and his friends as they journey to the city of Mithral Hall in search of Drizzt’s lost love, Cattie-brie. Along the way, they must battle orc raiders, dragons, and other deadly foes. In the end, they are successful in finding Cattie-brie, but they also discover that the city of Mithral Hall is in danger of being destroyed by a powerful creature known as the “King of the Giants.”
