The Elite

The Elite is the second book in the Kiera Cass series. It continues the story of America Singer, a girl who is chosen to compete in a televised competition to become the next queen of Illéa. America is torn between her feelings for Aspen, a boy from the lower class who is also in the competition, and Prince Maxon, the prince of Illéa who she is supposed to be vying for.

The characters in The Elite are all incredibly powerful and have unique abilities. The plot is full of twists and turns, and the ending is completely unexpected.
