The Fifth Risk explores the consequences of the Trump administration’s approach to governing. In particular, the book focuses on the Trump administration’s disregard for expertise and its willingness to politicize government agencies. The book argues that this approach has led to a number of significant risks, including the risks of climate change, nuclear war, and economic recession. The book also argues that the Trump administration’s approach to governing has made it difficult for the government to effectively respond to these risks.
