Sophie Hannah is a British crime writer and psychotherapist. She has published fifteen psychological thrillers, which have been translated into over thirty languages and sold over fifteen million copies worldwide. She is best known for writing The Monogram Murders, a 2014 Hercule Poirot novel authorized by the Agatha Christie estate.

In addition to her writing career, Hannah is also a qualified psychotherapist and has taught psychology at the University of Cambridge.
