The Lamp: An Agatha Christie Short Story has generally received positive reviews.
The Agatha Christie short story “The Lamp” is about a woman who is haunted by a lamp that she found in an auction. The lamp seems to have a life of its own and it starts to wreak havoc in her life. The woman is eventually driven to madness by the lamp and she kills herself.
I think it is a combination of all three. The content is definitely engaging and the characters are likable. I think what really sets it apart, though, is Christopher Lee’s performance. He brings a level of gravitas and sophistication to the role that is really unmatched.
“The Lamp,” an Agatha Christie short story, is a classic Christie mystery with a twist. The story centers around a lamp that is said to be haunted. The lamp is said to be cursed and anyone who touches it will die. When the lamp is brought to a party, one of the guests is found dead. The guests must figure out who touched the lamp and why they did it.
The story is well-written and suspenseful. The characters are interesting and the mystery is clever. The ending is surprising and satisfying. This is a great story for fans of Agatha Christie.
