I absolutely loved the Miss Marple series! I found it fascinating to see how she was able to solve murders that seemed impossible. The Sleeping Murder was definitely my favorite book in the series. I loved how it was a bit of a mystery within a mystery.

The Sleeping Murder is a work of detective fiction by Agatha Christie and first published in the UK by Collins Crime Club in October 1937 and in the US by Dodd, Mead and Company the following year. The UK edition retailed at seven shillings and sixpence (7/6) and the US edition at $2.00.

The book introduces the character of Miss Marple, who would go on to appear in twelve of Christie’s novels and numerous short stories. The plot concerns a woman who, after moving into a new house with her husband, begins to experience strange happenings and comes to believe that she is being haunted by the ghost of a murdered woman.
