Rhys Bowen is a British-American author of historical mysteries. She is best known for her Molly Murphy and Evan Evans series.

Bowen was born in Bristol, England, and moved to the United States in her 20s. She began her career writing romances under the pen name Elizabeth Peters. She later turned to writing mysteries, and her first Molly Murphy mystery, In Dublin’s Fair City, was published in 2001.

Bowen has won numerous awards for her work, including the Agatha Award, the Anthony Award, and the Macavity Award. In 2013, she was inducted into the Mystery Writers of America Hall of Fame.

Lucienne and her cat, Sherlock, must use their detective skills to follow the clues and solve the mystery before Christmas Eve. With each clue, the stakes get higher and the danger increases, but Lucienne is determined to find the treasure and save Christmas.
