Ray Porter is an American actor and voice actor. He is known for his role as Darkseid in the DC Universe Animated Original Movies, and has also provided voices for several animated series, video games and audiobooks.

Porter was born in Bakersfield, California. He attended University of California, Los Angeles on a football scholarship, but was forced to retire due to injury. He then turned to acting, and has appeared in various television shows and movies.

Porter’s voice acting career began with the animated series Justice League Unlimited, in which he voiced the character of Darkseid. He would go on to voice the character in several other DC Universe Animated Original Movies, as well as the video game Injustice: Gods Among Us.

Porter has also provided voices for the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Transformers: Prime, Green Lantern: The Animated Series and Avengers Assemble. In addition, he has lent his voice to numerous video games, including Mass Effect 3, Batman: Arkham Origins, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and Star Wars Battlefront.

Ray Porter is a very good narrator. He’s one of those narrators that you can listen to for hours and never once get bored. He’s got a very soothing voice and he knows how to pronounce all the words correctly. I’ve never once heard him mispronounce a word. He also has a very good range. He can do all the different voices for all the different characters and he does them all very well.

I would highly recommend Ray Porter as a narrator. He’s one of the best I’ve ever heard.
